Sister, Sister (April 1, 1994-May 23, 1999) an American television show about two girls, separated and adopted at birth; however, one day they find each other after 14 years. The plot revolves around problems teenagers face with their family, school, friends, and relationships throughtout their college years. Using a humerous way, they bring the audience lectures and lessons teeagers face in life. The series was orginally shown in ABC and moved to WB in Septemeber 1995. After the season finale, they show reruns on Disney channel. The main cast are Tamera Mowry, Tia Mowry, Jackee Harry, and Tim Reid, Margues Houston, Alexis Fields, Deon Richmond, and RonReaco Lee. I think this television show is important to me, because it shows what kind of influnences have on teenagers and I enjoy the comedies they place in there to make it entertaining for us.

Friends (September 22, 1994-May 6, 2003) a comedy about a group of six friends, three men and women, living in New York City. It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, with the cast of Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox Arquette (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross). Each of them has their own characteristic in which they portray, either they are spoiled, neat freak, weird, simple minded, wise-cracking, and nerdy. Throughout the ten seasons of Friends, we were entertained by their jokes and surprises. I think this television show is not only to entertain us, but gives us an ideal of a group of friends where they deal with their friendships and relationships. Although it may contain some sexual comments, however, this is what we would have to go through when we come to their age. When I was young, I didn't understand what was so funny and what they were talking about. As I grew up, I watch the episodes again and start to realize their meaning. From this comedy show, it had a cultural impact in our language and fashion. For example, the use of "so" to mean "very" or "really" and "I know" from Monica (Courteney) is being used in our everyday life. Also, with Joey's (Matt) phrase, "How you doing?" has became a popular American slang used to greet friends. Another phrase used is the "Ross and Rachel break", described as the on-off relationship. With fashion, Rachel (Jennifer) impacts on everyday fashion and hairstyles. Friends is a television show we will always remember and we would never get bored the entertainment moments from the reruns.

Boy Meets World (September 24, 1993-May 5, 2000), a television show that presents events and everyday life lessons of Corey Matthews (Ben Savage). Cory starts out as a young boy and continues on throughout college, covering lessons involving situations with family, school, friends, and relationships. Beig similar to other televison shows such as Full House or Brady Bunch, this is the most recent show where we see the characters grow up and change. From being a trouble maker to a high school graduate going to college. I think this show is important to me, because there are a lot o situations I can relate to and plus it gives me entertaining moments with its humor.
